Spiced Lentil Recipe from Jaipur

This recipe comes from my “home cooking class in Jaipur

Ingredients

1 bowl moong lentil (yellow)

1/2 tsp tumeric powder

1 tsp salt or as per your taste

Few curry leaves 

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/4 hing or aestofoida

2tsp ghee or clarified butter

How to Cook Jaipur Lentil

Wash the lentil & put it in pressure cooker along with turmeric powder & salt and 2 cups of water. Let it come to pressure. Remove it from gas stove after 1 whistle

Once cool saute it butter cumin seeds, aestofoida and curry leaves. Enjoy spice free indian dal.
